From 1717 to 1903, the Bellenau Château belonged to the Lafosse family. Pierre-Etienne-Joseph Lafosse ( Pierre V), born in 1828 at St Côme du Mont, dreamt one day of a splendid park, behind his family home, with rare trees, garden fountains, islands, follies and grottos...
